It’s been a whole while!

Longest time and not on hiatus definitely.

Shitload thing happen in the company today. It's not that I cannot handle this little issue,
but this particular person has been bossing around. She tried to use her authority to speak to me; I understand this (since she is in the managerial side). I respected that. But speaking to me in a sense like I owe her something is not forgivable, at least to me. Speaking at a harsh tone to me in front of some colleagues when I am not even in her department, so she better quit bossing around. I dun really believe 100% that she's that bad when she came back into this company again, but I’m seeing more things which are so true, as described by my colleagues. I would say she is lucky I still respect her as a manager, and thank her to let me see her truest colors and be smarter in future. Haa!

 

 

Anyway forgone the worries and looking forward to work smarter next time!

Met this Sweetie Pie there as I know almost every weekend she's there! =p

The next day was community service with the New Hope.

A group was tasked to bring the kids to the movies, and another to bring package goodies which we have prepared in advanced to the homes of these families.

I was in the group bringing the kids to the movies and they were all lovable!

Had the great time with them!

Finally after the longest time, met Sharon recently. We have been saying for ages to meet but yet..

And of all places, we decided to head to Butter last Fri (also after finally trying to match our schedule!), together with her Friend Yi Xuan

Ends the night short as baby came over from Zirca after attending a function. =)

Sat 10.10.09 was 2 years for us!

Despite that, he had to work, so I did shopping with Sharon.

Replenished myself with Shu Uemera's mascara, and bought my mum Coach mini Pouch as her Bday present.

Night was Kepple Bay TCC with baby, romancing the night.

Not romantic with the family beside our table, the father kept snapping with the DSLR.

It was so bright that it nearly blinded both of us.

Gosh, does he really need to snap 5 times with the same pose by the person posing for the camera.

Goodness that I am to be in one of the committee for our co's year end xmas party!

Sounds fun and we have something in mind, but tiring coz it's gonna be our peak period soon.

So contradicting, but we have a good team! =)

Will try to keep things more posted.

Honestly, tired each time I so wanna blog!

Wonder what makes me busy despite the less peak period at the time of the year for work!

I was being the question why am I taking on to do Business Development (BD) when I am only paid as a surveyor. My Manager fought so hard for me to take on the challenge. With willingness to challenge myself,  that no one dare bullies me in future if I happen to switch jobs. Even though just being a surveyor already, many goods or mistakes came across, clients who are extremly impressed, or extremely disappointed in me, I have to always braise myself to accept them., humbly and willingly. That's the nature of my job. Clients may start blaming you and be sarcastic with you either over the phone or worst, in front of you. Thanks to my managers who are so encouraging and taught me alot to overcome those uncertain factors.
I was really upset when I heard that one of their corporate client was very upset with me because of some mistakes which came across the line of job (handled by different people). Without blaming as we share the burden, trying all means to salvage the matter even within my reach, but still, people will only remember the mistakes you make, not the GOOD which you helped saved the situation. When shit happens, and a heavy sack on my shoulders, many times I refrained myself from breaking down in front of my colleagues because I always believed in doing better and learning from mistakes even though is not entirely my fault (I rem breaking down in front of mysilly boy only once or twice,with the humongous amount of ppl who blamed you for no reason). Because of all these faced, because of the doubts ppl have in me, I dared myself to take on the BD position, which is a huge take-on. Meet bigger clients who would give you more jobs.

Now, you all gonna see white hair sprouting!


Brighter side, keeps me in detail to update foremost the dates I had with ma girlfriends.

Earliest was the relaxing with the Entrepreneurial classmate at City Space, floating space up at Stamford Swissotel at the 70th Level.

The view was breath taking but not as much as I expect to be.
Unfortunately, Singapore CBD hasn't shown much light in the recent years.
Probably each and every is trying to cut down on bills ya?

I do miss it and I made my own wish come through after months of complains about my hair.
Not chop too short, just 3 inches or more at the back!


Hmmm, compared to 2 years ago.
I felt I have aged. Timely!


This morning was a lazy Monday, woke up late, hailed a cab.
Hailed the first blue cab with the Nets system not working.
Hailed the 2nd cab which only can pay by cash, Ezlink, or Visa.
Without thinking, I just hopped on before I am late!

Reached 5 mins earlier my work place lobby, but eventually reach about nearly 10 mins late in the office!
The uncle was figuring how to use the VISA MACHINE!!
Twice, times he pressed the wrong key or wonder if the font color doesn't go well with the background.
Am usually a patient person with this, but already 15 mins in the cab fuguring how to use,
in the end I was kinda pissed off that I told him I will do it for him.
WOW, just one try I'm done!
I can't soley blame the uncle coz the system is thru a handphone,
which I think it's a big time hassle.
Could the taxi company DO something about it for the convenience of the drivers.
Imagine those uncles who can barely read english (maybe there's chinese languages).
I won't let that spoil my day, with my new hair style! Haha!!

Complained to the Baby but he, sms-ed me with a surprise this morning..

Him: Let me tell you something that will brighten your day/week/month.
Me: Hee, what thing? (As usual trying to act a bit cuter)
Him: This weekend we go (CENSORED) then we go (CENSORED) then you can go and CHOOSE THE (CENSORED)(CENSORED)(CENSORED) that you like!!

............

About 15 mins later

............

Him: Wahhh you no feeling one, not excited.
Me (Walk back to her desk and saw the sms): SERIOUS!! ............. Blahh blahh blahh.

I was talking to one of the managers you see?
And I never know this early morning could perk me up on a sleepy Monday!

Of course it lightens up my days and weeks, practically can't wait fer weekends!
Silly boy!

Treat my Dad Zhou's Kitchen buffet last Sat as it's was his birthday, shared by Baby and myself, but my Mum offered to chip in.
Think we have no idea what to give him, so food is the best!
Then Mustafa in the wee hours with Baby, and laze with nothing and mahjong on Sunday.
We're suppose to do something I think but in the end...... Lazy bums!!



I suppose all out there had a great weekend?

I had a letter from HR today..


And signed the bond as well!
Bonded to this company for a year, but well,
I don't mind! It's not signing my life away as long as goodwill comes.
After 3 months in this company, speaks happiness, although times are hard, and stressful.
Had been through the worst, or maybe not yet the WORST.

Back to the letter, inside the letter spells my I-N-C-R-E-M-E-N-T!
My manager told me in advanced that she will be fighting for the increment as she thought I deserve it,
and indeed it was approved!
I have no idea how can I thank my manager so much, that she looks upon me, and groom me to be someone.
I am consider lucky to have a direct superior like her! =)
This meant I have to work EXTRA hard to prove my worth,
you know, increase meant no slack, and work doubly hard.
KPIs are my best friend for now.

Best of all after receiving the confirmation letter, I am able to have my alternate Saturday off!
Duper happy coz I really need rest, at least it perks my morale a little.

Shared the happiness with Baby, who's in camp!
His reply was just "eee"!
He loves to tease me, and I miss him!
